Thank you to everyone who took part in the Beaumont Circus engagement process. Over two phases of public engagement, residents shared a wide range of perspectives on the future of this space and how it serves the surrounding community. While there was interest in enhancing Beaumont Circus as a public space, feedback also raised concerns particularly around traffic circulation and access near 15 Avenue NE and Edmonton Trail.
After carefully considering this input alongside project goals and technical analysis, The City will not be moving forward with the proposed Beaumont Circus park project. We appreciate the time and thoughtful feedback provided by residents throughout the engagement process.
Although the park project has been cancelled, The City recognizes ongoing community questions related to traffic and access in the area. Additional traffic analysis has been commissioned to better understand current conditions and ensure safety and smooth traffic movement for everyone.
