SAFETY TOWN HALL RSVP
Join Us for the Councillor Clark Ward 9 Safety Town Hall with Chief Constable Katie McLellan.
Ward 9 continues to experience a period of meaningful transition — shaped by growth, reinvestment, and evolving community priorities. As our neighbourhoods grow and change, residents continue to raise important conversations around community safety, neighbourhood wellbeing, and how we build communities where people feel connected, supported, and secure.
Across Ward 9, residents, businesses, community organizations, and frontline workers are navigating many of the same challenges being felt across Calgary: concerns around public safety, traffic and mobility, social disorder, property crime, emergency response, and the pressures facing both community services and public spaces. At the same time, our communities continue to show resilience, care, and a strong desire to work together toward practical solutions.
This Town Hall is an opportunity to come together for an open and respectful conversation about safety in Ward 9 and across Calgary. We are pleased to welcome Katie McLellan from the Calgary Police Service, who will share thoughts and perspectives on current challenges, community policing, and the importance of collaboration between residents, community partners, and public institutions.
The evening will also provide residents with an opportunity to ask questions, share experiences, and discuss local concerns directly with representatives from the City and Calgary Police Service. These conversations are an important part of ensuring community voices help inform future priorities and responses.
Ward 9’s strength has always come from its people — from long-standing residents and local businesses to new neighbours and community advocates who care deeply about the future of their communities. We hope you will join us for an important conversation about safety, connection, and the future of our neighbourhoods.
